Aircon installation Singapore. Brand-neutral, built properly.
Honest aircon installation Singapore service for every system size and brand. We're not a Daikin or Mitsubishi distributor, we install what you want. Premium gas pipe insulation, proper drainage gradient, real materials. Free site survey before any quote. 1-year workmanship warranty on every installation.
Why Brand-Neutral Matters
We don't push a brand. You choose.
Most big aircon companies in Singapore are tied to one or two specific brands. They're distributors, not just installers, and they have real incentives to push those brands even when something else would suit you better. We're different.
Lion City Aircon is independent. We buy from the major suppliers, add materials and labour, and quote you the total. If you have a preferred brand, we install it. If you want our advice, we'll tell you the honest pros and cons of each: Daikin's quiet operation, Mitsubishi's reliability, Panasonic's price-performance, Midea's value, and where each one falls short.

Configurations We Install
Every system size, every setup type
From a single bedroom HDB to a multi-storey landed property to a small commercial fit-out, we've installed it.
System 1
1 indoor + 1 outdoor. Single room, studio apartment, or supplementing an existing setup.
System 2
2 indoor + 1 outdoor. Most common HDB 2-bedroom setup (master + 1 bedroom).
System 3
3 indoor + 1 outdoor. Standard HDB 3-bedroom or condo setup.
System 4
4 indoor + 1 outdoor. 4-bedroom HDB, larger condos, common landed setup.
System 5
5 indoor + 1 outdoor. Larger landed properties or high-bedroom-count configurations.
VRV / VRF
Commercial systems: F&B outlets, retail spaces, offices, large landed properties.
Ducted / Concealed
Hidden inside ceiling, only the supply/return grilles visible. Premium aesthetic.
Cassette (Ceiling-Mount)
Square ceiling-mounted units, 4-way airflow. Common in offices and shophouse fit-outs.
Portable Units
Free-standing portable aircons for spaces where wall-mount isn't an option.
The Two Things That Actually Matter
The materials we use, and why it matters
Most aircon failures down the line come from two overlooked details at install. We don't cut corners on either.
Premium gas pipe insulation
We use top-tier single-piece insulation with an extra plastic outer layer on top of the foam core, not the cheap aluminium-foil wrap most installers use. No taping or gluing of joined sections, joins are where insulation always fails first.
- Single piece from start to finish, no joins to fail
- Extra outer plastic layer for double protection
- Better thermal performance = lower running cost
- Far longer service life vs cheap aluminium-foil insulation
Drainage pipe gradient & sizing
Drainage problems cause more aircon callbacks than anything else. We use a minimum 16mm pipe with 3/8 inch insulation, and just as critically, we ensure the gradient runs correctly so water flows out instead of pooling.
- Minimum 16mm drainage pipe
- 3/8 inch insulation throughout the run
- Proper downward gradient at every section
- No flat runs, no reverse falls, no future leaks

Want a cheaper option? We do recon installations too.
We keep reconditioned aircon units in our office for customers who want a working aircon at a lower upfront cost. Same materials, same workmanship, same 1-year workmanship warranty. The only difference: no manufacturer warranty (because the unit isn't new). Useful for rental properties, short-term needs, or budget-conscious installs.
Installation Types
Every kind of installation job
New builds, replacements, relocations, renovations. We handle every scenario.
Brand-New Installation
Fresh property: BTO handover, new condo, new landed. Pipes, drainage, brackets, cabling, the lot. Best to coordinate with your renovation phase.
Replacement
Old aircon dismantled and disposed, new unit installed. Often reuses existing piping (subject to inspection). Significantly cheaper than full new install.
Relocation
Move an existing aircon to a new location, within your property or to a new home. Dismantle, transport, repipe, reinstall and recharge.
Trunking & Piping Work
New trunking runs, hidden routing through walls or ceilings, drainage rerouting. Common during renovations or when changing aircon location.
Reconditioned Units
Recon (second-hand) units installed with the same care as new ones. No manufacturer warranty, but our 1-year workmanship warranty still applies.
Renovation Coordination
We work directly with renovation contractors and homeowners during reno phase. Pipes go in before walls are sealed for the cleanest result.
Our Warranty Policy
Two warranties. Two different things.
Most companies blur these together. We separate them so you know exactly what's covered and for how long.
1-Year Workmanship Warranty
If anything we did during installation fails within 12 months: leaking pipes, dropped brackets, drainage issues, electrical work, we come back and fix it FOC.
- Workmanship covered for 12 months
- FOC return visit if our install fails
- Drainage, piping, mounting, electrical
Brand Warranty (e.g. Mitsubishi)
Each brand has its own warranty. Example for Mitsubishi Electric: 1 year full coverage on all spare parts, plus 5 years on the compressor (just the compressor part, not the whole condenser unit).
- Full parts coverage typically 1 year
- Compressor 5 years (just the compressor)
- Other brands have similar but varying terms
