What Proper Aircon Servicing Actually Looks Like: A Customer Documented Every Step

Most reviews tell us the outcome: five stars, good job, will call again. Every so often, a customer writes down the process instead. Last week, a first time customer named Li Han did exactly that after Sarwer and Zaherul serviced every unit in his home, and his review reads like an inspection report. With his words on public record, we want to walk through what he noticed, because every detail he lists is a deliberate part of how we work.

What the customer saw

“Team lead Sarwer took the time to explain the entire servicing process in detail before work began, giving me confidence that the units were in good hands. He and Zaherul then carefully dismantled each FCU and carried out the servicing with great attention to detail.”

“One aspect that really stood out was their thorough cleaning process. They set up a pressure jet in the bathroom to properly wash all the dismantled components, something I don’t commonly see with standard air-conditioning servicing. They also laid out protective coverings throughout the work area to prevent any accidental spills or mess.”

Why each of those details matters

Explaining the process before starting. A technician who tells you what he is about to do and why is a technician who is not planning to cut corners. It also means that if we find something wrong, a worn bearing, a coil that needs chemical treatment, you already understand the context and nobody feels ambushed by an upsell. That conversation costs five minutes and is company policy on every job.

Dismantling each fan coil unit. This is the line that separates real servicing from the ten minute filter wipe. The dust you can reach with the cover on is the dust that was never the problem. The blower wheel, the coil fins and the drainage tray sit behind the housing, and they are where mould grows and airflow dies. If your current contractor has never taken your units apart, they have never actually cleaned them. We wrote a whole post about the one factor that separates quality servicing from poor service, and this is it.

The pressure jet in the bathroom. Li Han spotted something most customers never think about: washing the dismantled parts under proper water pressure instead of wiping them down. A wipe moves dust around. A pressure wash removes it, along with the biofilm that a cloth cannot touch. It takes longer, it needs setup, and it is the reason a properly serviced unit smells like nothing when it starts up.

Protective coverings through the home. Aircon servicing involves water, and water in the wrong place means a damaged floor or a stained sofa. Laying coverings takes a few minutes at the start of every job. Skipping them saves nothing and risks plenty. How a team treats your home tells you how they will treat your aircon.

The same week, another customer tested our speed

A few days later a customer named Adam asked whether we could handle a same day servicing. From his review: “they were able to send a team over within just a few hours, which I really appreciated. Abu and Rafi were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the condition of my air conditioner and provided helpful advice without any pressure.” Seven teams across the island makes same day possible more often than most people expect.

The point

We publish case studies like this because “quality servicing” is an empty phrase until someone describes what it physically looks like: units dismantled, parts pressure washed, floors protected, process explained. That standard is the same whether it is a single bedroom unit or a commercial contract across three floors.

If your last servicing visit did not look like what Li Han described, that is worth thinking about. Our servicing rates are listed here, and you can reach us on WhatsApp at +65 8818 5781. Ask for Sarwer and Zaherul if you want the exact experience above, though honestly, all seven teams work to the same standard. The 1,800+ reviews naming our technicians individually are the proof.
