What P03 means
Toshiba P03 indicates the outdoor unit discharge temperature exceeded its safe limit, past roughly 115 degrees at the compressor discharge. What usually causes P03 in Singapore
Discharge temperature climbs when the compressor works too hard for the refrigerant flowing through it. The common local causes: low refrigerant from a leak, forcing the compressor to run hot and starved. A condenser that cannot shed heat, coils caked with dirt, or an outdoor unit boxed into a hot, airless ledge corner. And on older systems, a compressor or expansion device drifting out of spec. What you can safely try
One breaker reset after letting the unit rest for fifteen minutes. If P03 returns, switch off and stop. Every repeat run at excess discharge temperature shortens the compressor’s life, and a compressor is the most expensive part in the system. This is exactly the wrong code to keep resetting.
