What a System 3 is
A System 3 means one outdoor condensing unit running three indoor fan coils: three rooms cooled from a single spot on your ledge, one set of piping, one power point. For most 4-room and 5-room HDB flats and many condos, it matches how Singapore actually lives.
The Mitsubishi Electric Starmex System 3 runs on the MXY-3H28VG outdoor unit with MSXY-FP wall mounted fan coils, all 5-tick rated on R32 gas. It is the most popular multi split configuration we install, with the deepest parts and technician support in Singapore.

The honest part
When all three rooms run at full blast together, the outdoor unit shares its capacity between them per the official Mitsubishi combination tables, so each room gets a little less than its solo rating. For bedrooms at night and living room by day, you will never feel it. If your household genuinely runs all three hard at once, tell us at the site survey and we will size the system honestly, even if that means a bigger condenser.
