What a System 3 is
A System 3 runs three indoor fan coils off one outdoor unit: three rooms cooled from a single ledge spot with one set of piping. It suits most 4-room and 5-room HDB flats and condos.
The current Panasonic System 3 lineup runs on the XU Series, with CU-3XU28YBZ and CU-4XU33YBZ outdoor units paired to CS-XU BKZW wall mounted fan coils. Every XU outdoor unit carries the 5-tick Excellent NEA rating on R32, and the fan coils include nanoe X air purification built in.
